On the morning of August 23rd, Zhang Hongwei, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, led a team to visit Sitronix Biotechnology to conduct a research. Mr. Zhang Zhiqian, founder and CEO of Strontium Bio, together with members of the management team, attended the seminar. Through in-depth exchanges, visits and studies, this activity jointly explores new opportunities for the development of synthetic biology industry and contributes to the promotion of the industry and regional development.
At the symposium, Mr. Zhang Zhiqian introduced in detail the basic situation of Strike Bio and the development status and trend challenges of the synthetic biology industry. At present, Striker has launched innovative projects such as bio-preservative green food program and arachnid protein biomaterials program, striving to drive and serve the market with product and technology innovations, and realizing the synthetic biology to break new ground.
The research group pointed out that synthetic biology is regarded as a strategic emerging industry to promote bio-economy, industrial upgrading and national scientific and technological competitiveness. It is hoped that Guangzhou's resource advantages can be fully utilized to strengthen the in-depth synergy of the industry, which will bring new impetus to the economic benefits of enterprises and new opportunities for the development of regional industries.
